Kaplan Medical Launches Online United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) Step 2 Review Course
First-ever online review helps busy med students prepare for licensing exam
Medical students shouldering hectic schedules that leave little time for USMLE Step 2 preparation can now review for the crucial exam online, anytime, between clinical rotations or while "on call". Kaplan Medical, the medical preparation unit of Kaplan, Inc., today launched the first ever USMLE Step 2 review course, reaching fourth year medical students across the country with targeted video lectures from Kaplan Medical's world famous faculty. "We saw the need for more flexible modes of study," said Rochelle Rothstein, M.D., Vice President of Kaplan Medical. "And we filled the gap. Realizing that fourth year med students are incredibly busy, we created a concise, flexible, intensive online course, giving students the extra edge on the most-likely-to-be-tested Step 2 material."
Kaplan Medical's Step 2 Highlights is an innovative online lecture series, offering more than 25 hours of targeted review from clinical faculty who have been teaching Kaplan Medical's comprehensive review programs. The Highlights course emphasizes the must-know, critical concepts for the test, with exam-focused highlights on Internal Medicine, Surgery, Ob-gyn, Psychiatry and Pediatrics. Medical students can easily finish the Step 2 Highlights course in two weeks, allowing them to concentrate on preparing for the test with minimal interruption to their busy schedules.
